New Summicron 35 Asph arrived, and time has come to put apart it's much older grandfather ... (8 elements , Wetzlar '63)... I'll keep it with care, but it's possible I'll no more mount it on M8... tonight, when i transferred the UVIR from one to the other, I felt a certain commotion... it took SO MANY pics. So I decided, to share its sentiments
, to post a pic taken with it, which gives to me, too, the sense of time passing....It was June 1991 - honeymoon in Brittany... M4 self timer... and that old Summicron that is going to retirement,,, Luigi+Maria_Normandia91_2.jpg quick & dirty scan, of course, IT will not be offended for this...was born at a time when scanners were still unknown... |

Luigi--
Nice couple. Thanks for sharing a bit of your life with us! (Only your wife's smile implies her awareness of the phallic nature of the lighthouse over your shoulder... )

Luigi,
A special shot and one to treasure! The intense look on your face suggests that you operated the M4 through mind control rather than a self-timer. Pete.
