This might help. My glasses prescription reads: Near add +1.5. But I think 'near' means something like 60cm or less(reading) and you never focus that close with a M8.

Overall with the magnifier I am now at +0.5 on the M8.

Cool. Good enough that I will take that risk. I will double check it with my optician as Jaap suggested. That is, the 1.25X magnifier and adding correction lenses till it looks clear.
