Thanks for the update, Bill.
As for the title (agree, this is part of my trade inventing them every day ), why not :Two Eyes, One Camera or 105 photographers, Two Eyes, One Camera or 105 Views, One Camera or 210 Eyes, One Camera Last edited by sthan : 05/19/08 at 10:43 PM. |

How does this sound for the back of the title page?
The pictures in this book were taken by photographers from around the world using a Leica M8 rangefinder Photographic credits for each picture are contained in the Appendix © Copyright 2008 by the photographers. All rights reserved. Photographs may not be copied or redistributed without the photographer's permission. Edited by William Parsons

I like your back cover idea. The title seems like one photographer did it unless you say something like ManyEyes, One camera.
Thank you for all the hard work you have done on this. It is greatly appreciated. Caryl

I should be clearer.
I plan to have only a picture on the front and back covers, no text. Thus, the title of the book will appear only on the spine and cover page. Therefore, it needs to be short and sweet. Keep those comments coming. Regards,

Fantastic effort! Hats off to all of you who didn't wait 'til the last minute to submit (and let it pass) like I did!

Johan, I really like "Free Eyes." You got any more where that one came from?

"Free Eyes"
Bill, I'm not sure to understand your question about this title. I just invented it. If your question is (what we normally do in publishing business) to check if that title is available, I don't know. In Europe, before choosing a french title, we have a website where we may check that. I don't know how it works in english speaking countries. But I don't suppose it applies for a book which will be not for sale in bookshops. Hope it helps, Again, a big hug for all your work. Yours, Johan PS : In french, it would be "L'œil libre", which is not bad. Last edited by sthan : 05/20/08 at 01:08 PM. |

Bill,
You may also play with the "eye" thing : Fast Eyes Open Eyes Clear Eyes Wide Open All these work well also in french and italian (my two other languages). Yours, JF Last edited by sthan : 05/20/08 at 01:32 PM. |

It's amazing how musical French and Italian are. That must be why the Americans have to make jokes to get along.

Bill
I got your messages and it is ok to publish as all photos public. But I did not see this thread. Is this OBE? (overcome by events? too late?) or are you still taking images i will try to get to your resolution but most are more. will you downres? I can set at 300 and crop to fit if that makes it easier. rtegards Victor

I'd say french is more harmonic than musical. In fact, french are not renowned for their music, as you may notice. |
