At the moment, we have 78 posters with a total of 211 images.
Now, we need a vote. The 211 images include 4 for DES, who has both a b/w and a color version of some hills. [see 161-3 (page 9) and 191 (page 10)] I find both versions of this image stunning. In the color version, you can touch the foreground; in the b/w, the background is pure velvet. I would like to print both versions of this image, without taking away either of the other two images that DES has provided. I think they should be printed facing each other. Would you give some feedback on this proposal?

Scott, would you post these in the photo thread, instead? The link is in the first post.
I'll email you, as well.

At the moment, there are 84 photogs and 235 images.
I think this book is going to be stunning. I was lying in bed last night thinking about it. There are so many diverse pix from all over the world. The different points of view and insights are amazing. I like that there is not a central subject. It is a delight to see these multiple artistic visions. This book will definitely have legs. 19 days, and counting. Regards,

Bll, put me down for one copy and I will get you the releases tonight. Where do you want the fullsized images? You can always use a Flickr account and have everyone put them there. That way they are easy to send to Blurb.

I posted this in the photo forum, so will repeat it here.
It was just suggested to me that the pictures vary in character, for example, color saturation, contrast, and so on. Making them fit together will be an intersting task, and the purpose of this post is to assure the contributors that the ordering of the book will be done in a collaborative fashion. I plan to take a first shot at it and then redo the process with several other people. When there is an order to reveal, I'll post it and wait for comments. The images are fantastic.

I have moved all of the images posted in this thread into the Photo section.
One I have managed to get into the M8 Anniversary thread, others are in the People section. Sorry, but it's a PITA to extract posts and merge them into another thread. If you have lost your images from this thread and can't find them, please upload them again in the appropriate section in the Photo section of the forum. It has taken me 15 minutes to do this, and next time, I will just delete them from this thread. Please, as requested more than once, keep this thread to text and put your images in the birthday shot thread here http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-...ite-photo.html Thanks
