nikonosguy Posted January 13, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've loaded up my 25mm, got the m8 ready, and am shooting two hockey games this weekend -carrying my m8 for some of the stuff that happens near me, also carrying my nikon d3 with lenses and my leica d-lux 4 -- lots of batteries to charge -- will post photos --- will carry my summar in my bag for just in case shots --- have it shooting dng+jpg,bw (may change that for the hockey to just the high res jpgs to speed things up) have two hockey games and roller derby next weekend --- lots of lugging gear around the m8 has proven to be an utter delight -- got a fast 32 gig sd card class 10 in there -- will set to continuous mode Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lenshacker Posted January 13, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2015 Be sure to test the write speeds with your selected option. I seem to remember DNG+JPEG being slow. DNG is only 10MBytes per image, so 100 images per Gigabyte. I tend to use 8GByte cards, if you lose a card- don't lose as much. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
