I sent in for my lens (wate with finder) at the end of June and am still waiting. I know they said it could take awhile but shouldn't I have heard something from them by now. I have not had any kind of reply or status at all.

Same like others above, I got my WATE about two weeks ago. Apparently, the WATE is more readily available than, let's say, the Noctilux.

Received my Noctilux today - actually I could have had it yesterday if I had been home :-).
I had sent the order in early April, and that's what I expected - I was hoping to have it before the holidays, but not much sooner. |

Still waiting for my Noctilux, thank god! Ordered just past the end of June (I asked for the MATE at the end of June, so they had to ask me for a different choice). Due to the unavailable MATE, they offered to speed up my Noctilux, which I politely but firmly declined

Hello
I had a problem with my 30% discount WATE,when the expected delivery date passed. I phoned the person responsible ( the phone number is on your confirmation of order) and was informed that they had tried to take payment fron my credit card but had failed.What had happend was due to the size of payment and being from another country (I am in the UK) my card company needed to talk to me ,its called a referal.This did not happen so Leica cancelled the order without contacting me.The lady at Leica was very helpful and I recieved my WATE after a further 4 weeks.What I should have done was contact my card company when the lens was first ordered and told the to expect the debit from Leica. Mine may be an issolated case but its well worth while ringing leica.If you need the full number including extension and a name ,post a reply and I will post details. Hi
I would ring them, but do it about 8 am German time to catch them before things get busy. The people in the 30% discount dept are very helpfull.A nice polite phone conversation works wonders. |
