doing some test pictures with M8 with Wate and Lux 35, 1/4. beatifull lenses amasing resusts. my main interest is street and portraigt photography ( I am not a pro). Obviously some of you have good eperience wiht these lenses. What are the sweet spots F5.6, F8 ?
Most of the time I shoot ISO 320, sometimes 640 |

That depends on what you mean with sweet spot, but... you own the lenses! If there is a difference which you can see yourself, then you should be telling us where the sweet spot is!

Leica lenses may give their most characteristic "look" when wide open, it's then you'll see the bokeh at its most pronounced. 35/1.4, completely usable. 50/1, defines the Noctilux "look". 75/1.4, a look all of its own, 90/2, glorious colour and bite. Stop down and you lose it to some degree.
The aperture you use is part of your creative tool-box and what sets Leica apart is their fast lenses, the Summiuxes (now down to 2, sadly) and the Summicrons (5, if my counting is working).
