B&H has 21mm Elmarit & new price on M8

I just went over to the B&H site to check the pricing on the M8 and lenses. 21mm f/2.8 Elmarit shows as In Stock. Get it while it lasts.
It had been rumored that Leica (Germany or USA) was raising the price on the M8 and that it was suposed to happen back in July. So every now and then I've been looking at the B&H site to see if it has gone up. Well this morning it is up to $4950.00. That is a increase of $155.00

I don't think that will be the end of it; the M8 is going up another €600 in Europe in October, and I expect it will take the price in the US to $5450.

Well I'm glad I got my 2 when I did then. Not that I wouldn't buy one at the new price if I did have one already. Not sure If I'd go for the $5450 though.

That should make the brand new M8 that I have listed in the classifieds even more attractive. Shouldn't it?

I own two of these puppies, one silver chrome and one black. Since I am an inveterate Silver Chrome guy, the black one is now on the market. I am in no hurry but if you are interested in this fabulous lens, give me a PM
