Default Battery holder

Does anybody know where I can find a battery holder for the new humpback battery of Notre Dame?

I used to have a very cute and useful little leather job for the M6 that kept 2 button batteries (which lasted a couple of years...sic).

Nowadays it seems my anxiety has shifted from having not enough film to not enough battery juice! You can't win.

Might be the sort of item that Luigi, the famous Italian camera case maker, would consider producing along side the little case he has developed for cards etc.

Luigi does make a battery holder that attaches to your strap. It has a nice slot insode for an extra memory card as well. He will make it in the same color as your case and strap. I ordered one with mine. Do not recall the price but it was worth it.

Shhesh guys give me some slack...

I frequently use just two cameras, one strapped to the belt with something I did when I was drunk and young, the other hanging from my shoulder.

I don't carry anything else, unless I have to, so the ideal place for it would be the camera strap.

I got rid of the film... the only thingie hanging around is the battery, which if it goes into my pocket I will forget.

I don't like camera holders however beautiful they are (luigi you are beautiful!), because they add weight and clutter... Luigi's little bag is beautiful, but maybe a bit too posh for me.

What is perfect for me and adds little to no weight is to get a Sandisk CF card baggie. It has a tough little cord that will attach to your strap and hold one battery and one SD card in the pockets inside. Zips closed. I almost don't know it's there until I need it.

You are a genius! I had one of these baggies and wondered what to do with it... Perfect!

Thank you very much.

This sounds like a great idea but where would one get such a baggie?

Buy another 2Gb Extreme III San Disk and the baggie comes free with it. If you can wait a week, I am sure I have a spare unused one back in the UK. I have tried it for fit and you can JUST get a battery and a cased card in the SD baggie.

However I think the Luigi case looks very neat and I have ordered one from him. I think though, it will only look right on an Luigi strap, which I have.
