Default Leica Filter 67 UV/IR in the bag: not alone!

Camera bought in March. Filters ordered immediately, aware of JML adapter at the time.

Filter E39mm came a month ago. Filter E67mm arrived today, accompagnied by a free Filterholder E67! Solms guys wanting to go on vacation with as much happy customers as possible? :-)

The combi is a little unwieldy, but I going to try it anyway. Should I tape the
holes to avoid unwanted stray light? Haven't seen anything yet on the few pics
I took

Hello All,
Same here. 67 IR/UV arrived today WITH adapter for WATE, which I had not asked for. I had given up asking already.

Back again: almost threw it away ( like the envelope with the Filter Holder still in it :-)

No taping necessary: included is a circular piece of black plastic, for covering up the holes. Fits exactly.

Gee, guys, congratulations on the lagniappe!

Maybe I should have ordered the E67 filter instead of the E49.

I wonder if they're going to toss in the filter holder with the purchased version of the filter.

(I mean, since the filter hasn't been shipping, they can just raise the price to cover the cost of the adapter and the adapter-hole-blocker. )
