it was sold
for 299 Euros for just the Viso ...no bellows & no lens
amazing how the prices have gone up on the Visoflex Leica should consider a new model with a flash connector  |

SOLD... eh eh... I had predicted it some months ago... a collateral effect of the M8 success... rising prices for Viso III... and they sell quick,
But I don't think Leica shall make a Viso IV or so... a device with all the functions of the Viso III and comparable mechanical precision would cost a lot to manufacture, nowadays... and after all they have not lenses to sell for it.... why to build something that is useful only with lenses that are on the user market ? But I wouldn't be surprised if CV smart guys decide to come out with something in this direction... tailored to M8 (=smaller mirror/prism) and with some intelligent lens (a fine 40 macro? compact 150-180 or so ? or, just to chat, why not a "small" catadipotric mirror lens 250-300 ?) |
