Hello folks;
i have been lurking here for a while and have been contemplating to get a real camera again. Having said that i am leaning towards getting an M8 once i can convince myself to proceed digital in this caliber rather than analog (M7). ( not trying to spark the dig. vs. analog debate}. So this brings up the question where to mail order one in Canada since there is no dealer in my Province. I have dealt with one Montreal Leica Dealer ( D-LUX3) and the service was very good, just wondering if there is other options and personal expieriences out there. I have no intention to have people put dealers down in this forum so please share any neg. stuff via pm. In the meantime i find this Forum very informative in english as well as german. David |

There is only one real Leica dealer in Toronto:
Eight Elm. I bought a lot of stuff from them over the years. Their prices are good and their service and after-sales support are impeccable.

I buy my Canadian stuff from Eight Elm in Toronto, and anything they can't get Tamarkin in New York certainly can!

There're two other authorized Leica dealers in the greater Toronto area: Photocreative in Mississauga and Vistek in downtown east. You can check this on Leica's web site: Leica Camera AG - Dealer Locator And I'm absolutely neutral on this subject because almost all my Leica gears came from Japan and Hong Kong ... except the M8 which is from B&H. |
