M8 White Balance after 1.102

I find the AWB function in camera very much improved with the last 1.102 firmware release.

Into the past days also was noticeable to me. I always used the c1 M8 generic profile as reference.

I see no change, and I don't think Leica avows to having made one. People were seeing changes before when they had downloaded the same upgrade that they had when 1.090 was removed (they still had 1.060).

Yes, I have the same experience.

The noise at ISO 640 (DNG files) have improved too !!!

I'm still getting erratic AWB. In the same room with unchanging lighting conditions, color balance in some shots looks very blue and in others will be right on. I wasn't really expecting any change in this behavior as it was my understanding that this update did not address the AWB issues.

No, no difference, it's still hit and miss depending on aperature, lens, and distance. Take a shot , move back a foot , the wb dramatically changes sometimes. My guess is that it's not going to be possible to get it the level that we're use to with Canons or Nikons. Since the jpgs are over compressed, forcing us to always shoot raw, I guess it really doesn't matter anyway.
