Does anyone have an opinion on whether the Single Coat or the Multicoat Voigtlander Nokton 35/1.4 lens is better for the M8 than the other? I don't know which one to get.

I have one of these, can't really even tell if I have the SC or the Multi coated. Sean reviewed the lens and I don't think the differences are that significant

The single coated lens will be less resistant to flare and, for that reason, lower contrast. Some people prefer it for that reason. But unless one is looking specifically for that "older lens - lower contrast" look then he or she may prefer the MC version. This SC vs. MC difference applies generally to most lenses. A larger issue with that 35/1.4 is focus shift.
