Leica M-A film advance problem...

Hi

 

I just swopped my M-A for a new one because it had random "hickups" on the film advance, by this

I mean, after 10-15 frames i could get a "freeze up" on the film advance arm, (the same feel you get

when you can't advance any more because you are on the end of the film.)..to get by this i had to rewind the film and do 10-15 blank frames, and after this everything worked fine.. I had this happen with my camera on 3 out of 10 films (and no, this is not a case of a bad film batch, since I tried one of them in an M6 and all frames went by perfectly)

 

Anyone else have this problem?

 

I have found a few with very similar issues on youtube, but nothing on any forum?

 

 

 

I had a silver chrome M-A but this time around I got a black chrome one (they did not have

any more silver chrome in stock) but after fiddling with the black one I actually like this edition

better...very stealth, amazing matte finish, and no logo's of any kind... no mumbo-jumbo,

just straight business... so very satisfied after all...

 

Let's hope this camera is 100%
