Seeingeye Posted March 1, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 1, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) An interesting piece at The Online Photographer. After Kryn Taconis died, Elliott Erwitt took on the camera and it is now owned by his daughter who still uses it. The genuine wear has a much more aesthetic appeal than the effect achieved with the Leikravitz which looks so fake by comparison. Advertisement Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Hi Seeingeye, Take a look here Kryn Taconis' M3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
alun Posted March 11, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 11, 2015 Thanks for posting this -- a very interesting piece. Without it I would have remained unaware of Kryn Taconis -- and I thought I was familiar with just about every Magnum photographer: shame on me -- and the $24,500 "Leikravitz" 'Correspondent' set. ironhorse Posted March 15, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 15, 2015 For the sake of accuracy.....The camera is owned by his son, Misha.
