Leica M7 - blink light and manual shutter

Recommended Posts

May I inquire for further clarification on what blinking light or display are you asking about? The metering diodes definitely are displayed in manual on the M7. There also is a decimal point that is illuminated if you have set exposure compensation.

May I suggest downloading the M7 manual and reviewing the displays section? This should be of some assistance, although clarification questions here are always welcomed.

From memory, I think it also flashes if you set the ISO to a different speed than the one indicated by the DX code or (as was often the case with my M7) the DX reader misbehaves.
