Hope someone can help me. I have a SF 24 mounted on my M6TTL and no matter what I do I can't seem to trip the flash. Yes, it's turned on, yes the shutter speed is lower than 1/50th. I have tried to trip it in all 3 modes, i.e. TTL, A and M. Nothing happens. I can trip it by pushing the button on the flash. The flash icon shows in the viewfinder. What am I doing wrong??

OK light does not light up at any setting.

Having a conversation with myself, but I went to the shop and the flash works, so I guess my hot shoe is bust.

Did you try it with the shutter speed set to the lightning bolt? That is the dedicated flash setting for the TTL. Good Luck.

Make sure your camera battery is ok, the M6TTL will not fire the flash if it is bad. Do not ask me how I discovered that fact.

Yes, thank you, tried all speeds of 1/50th (lightning bolt) and slower.

Check the battery in the camera. If it is low or dead TTL won't work.
