Voigtlander fast 35

I am looking for a relatively inexpensive 35 lens that performs well in low light situations and renders a nice bokeh. I am contemplating either the CV 35 Nokton 1.2 (cheap when purchased used) or the new Ultron 1.7 but I have not seen it in the shops yet.

Any thoughts?

I'm waiting to see the Ultron myself. Looks like Spring 2015 for release.

If the quality is anything like the new 50 Nokton 1.5 it will be a great lens.

Colonel, these are undoubtedly shot stopped down, the first showing quite a bit of distortion. Given the size and weight, this isn't a lens I'd shoot at anything but wide open or nearly so.

If it's not a bother, mind posting anything at ƒ/1.2-2? Thanks.

Actually I thought the first had very little distortion considering I didn't use the correction on lightroom.

I don't find the weight much at all, on a M7 or M240 but I guess that's compared to the DSLRs I had or the A7S's lenses.

This is f5.6 on the M240, focused 1/6 down the tunnel. It's amazingly sharp at the pixel level, might post a blow up later:

This is f2 or f1.4 on M7:

This is f1.2 or f1.4 on M7:

And lastly another wide open on the M7, just to show the versatility of the lens and the low distortion. I used it for a whole holiday:

I didn't use lightroom correction with any of the above.

Best rgds

Aren’t you confusing perspective with distortion here?
