edwardkaraa Posted December 13, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) My ZM 35/2 didn't cause any color cast on the M9, but since I started using it on the M240, I'm noticing a slight purple cast on the right side of the frame. It doesn't show in every shot, but it is slightly annoying when it does. I have tried several profiles from the in camera lens correction list, but can't make up my mind. Which profile do you use? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Edward Edited December 13, 2014 by edwardkaraa
Advertisement Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Hi edwardkaraa, Take a look here ZM 35/2: which lens profile (on M240)?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
microview Posted December 13, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 13, 2014 Zeiss suggests either 28 ASPH f2 11604 or 28 f/2.8 ASPH 11606.
edwardkaraa Posted December 14, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted December 14, 2014 Thank you microview. I think the 28/2.8 profile produced a slight reddish cast on the entire frame so it might not work on the M240.

Abram Posted December 14, 2014 Share #6 Posted December 14, 2014 I have just been using it without a profile (on all three of my ZM lenses). I've only really seen the red cast pop up on the ZM 25 but I figured I'd just fix important shots with Cornerfix. Unless I can find a faster way to manually change the profiles, I seem to usually forget to change it when I switch lenses.

microview Posted December 14, 2014 Share #8 Posted December 14, 2014 Your 35 f2 asph shot looks best on my iMac screen – and 28 probably the least transparent!
edwardkaraa Posted December 15, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted December 15, 2014 Thanks Abram, Charlie, microview! Abram, I found the 28 2.8 11809 to be the most suitable for the ZM 25. Charlie, I never used any profiles on the M9. The sensor is less sensitive to corner shift. Microview thanks to confirm it. I was leaning towards this profile myself.
