mirekti Posted April 21, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 21, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I took few shots at the friends Easter gathering, and came up with some strange spots in one of the photos. It looks like Chromatic aberration, but looks really strange. Any comments on this, please? Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Hi mirekti, Take a look here 35mm FLE strange spots. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted April 21, 2014 Share #2 Posted April 21, 2014 Purple edge bleeding at extremely high contrast edges is a common problem with sensors in general. The higher the contrast and the better the lens the more it is seen. The cure is a quick swipe with the colour replacement brush in Photoshop. Until you have tried to photograph classic cars with loads of chrome under bright halogen spots you haven’t seen real purple edges !
