I'm guessing their comment about bokeh is just an acknowledgement that because it's a fast lens (for a 21mm) there is at least a chance of some out of focus areas in the shot. So far I haven't shot anything which puts that to the test.

Back to the question of bokeh...
here are a couple close shots, which might give you some idea of the quality of the out-of-focus areas. The parking meters were at f1.8 and the branch at f2.4 (it was too bright for wide open.) |
