Dear all,

If possible, I would like your help for the following:

I have a D-Lux 109 and when I try to use Auto Bracket function in Shutter Priority, the camera capture 3/5/7 images with the same shutter and aperture values. It only changes the conmpensation values and I see no differences in the PC screen. I also noticed that in the EVF the numbers that stated the aperture and speed appears in red.

This situation doesn't happen in Aperture Priority mode that works OK.

Can you please help me giving some tips about this.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Alex.

Alex, I can't give any pointers because the D-Lux 109 is still on my wish list; but this is the kind of question Leica Technical Service is usually good at answering.

You might want to give Customer Service a call and ask for Leica Technical.

Oh, and welcome to the Forum!

Hi Howard,

Many thanks for your reply.

For your information, before I post the doubt here I sent an e-mail to Customer Service, explaining that I had the doubt and the manual have no detailed explanation about the feature. The problem is that the answer I received was to check the manual - Amazing, isn't it?

Cheers,

Alex.

Alex, welcome!

It is best to consult the downloadable PDF instructions available on the Leica Support site. See Page 145 which claims Auto Bracket is available in P, A, S and M modes. I know it is a cumbersome way of consulting an instruction manual; I much prefer hard copy in my hand. Out of frustration I selectively printed out the pages I thought I might wish to consult in the future. There is a page devoted to this function. Page 146 lists when the function is disabled. That might hold the answers to your problem. I hope this helps you now and in future.

Hi David,

Many thanks for your repoly and tips. Unfortunately, the manual (including the pages you refer) doesn't help.

I really need to continue making experiences to try to find out a solution and/or explanation.

Cheers,

Alex.
