my D-Lux 6 saves only JPGs

I replaced my damaged D-Lux 3 with a D-Lux 6 and am very happy with it, except for one major problem: I haven't found how to make it save raw files (.RWL). Picture Size offers 3M, 2.5M and .3M and Quality two grades. None of these combinations gives anything other than JPGs. What am I overlooking in this rather complicated set of menus?

After checking with a memory stick on which I saved some photos earlier, I see that it was saving raw files properly until three days ago, when I flew from Vienna to Berlin. I strongly suspect that the security inspection (X-rays and who knows what else) altered the firmware.

Beware!

I'll try to find out from Leica how to remedy this. Thanks for your replies.

Check that it isn't on the auto setting. I do not believe auto makes anything but jpg format. P, S, A, and M will do raw, jpg or both.

Update: Ah, I missed Owen's post. It looks like he got you going in the right direction.

Happy ending!

Finally at home from my trip, I took my problem to my Leica dealer. He immediately showed me the Reset option (menu 5 under Setup) .A couple of clicks put everything back in order. The three missing Quality options had returned, and it now saves raw files again.
