Advertisement Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Hi spoow, Take a look here newbie D-lux 6. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stephan_w Posted November 1, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2013 I cannot help you with instagram, but there is a hughe improvement from vers. 3 to version 5 of LR. If you shoot RAW, of course. ps: check if you didn't select accidently the 1:1 format on the camera
wda Posted November 1, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 1, 2013 LR5 is more likely to include corrections and updates for your camera. Earlier versions would not know about the D-Lux 5. Also, the programme has matured and has more controls to improve your pictures. (Look at Adobe training videos and see the various features explained. mburnham Posted December 22, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 22, 2013 I know its a bit late after your posting, but If I understand your question correctly, you originally had an oblong image in the camera, but when loading into instagram the image had been cropped into a square format thereby losing part of the image. I am not an instagram expert, but every instagram image I have seen is square. Therefore, if you want to upload into instagram only, set your image format to 1:1 on the lens dial nearest to the body. This dial has a range of image shapes upon it. Hope this helps Regards Mike
