Today in Tokyo, I checked the price of one of these in perfect condition including inner wooden box and outer box. It was closer to $5000.

I agree with JBA, the price is too high. This is a camera mostly bought for collection purposes, and as such it needs to come with the box and papers. Like more or less all special Leica models it does not retain value very well (although the M6J is one of the better ones) and for $6000 you should get a mint camera in box and with papers.

Well guess we all know Arsenal does not have realistic prices compared to the overall market, so this would be hard to compare

Right Ron!
Moreover you have to consider that their prices are clean, first you have to add VAT (19%) shipping charges etc,and that sometimes their valuation are unpredictable (I have bought from them A items that were really a B-,and to be honest another time I've bought a B that was for sure a true A)

cheers
