These are the only photos (so far) of the additional lenses for the factory brown IIIf RD - I keep going on about. I'm new to Leica screwmount lenses - any information would be helpful.

You know it is engraved on...
The first pict shows an Hektor 4.5 : 135 made in 1950 (with a ply in the filter ring) The second pict shows an Elmar 4 : 90 made in 1947 (a s/n really symetric 635536 !) Last edited by jc_braconi : 03/27/08 at 04:49 PM. |

Most Leica lenses can be identified by reading The Leica Pocket Book 7th Edition ... but it is about time an 8th edition was published to take account of all the new lenses marketed in the last few years.
