It's time for the next Barnack Challenge. This is for LTM camera users only (no M's, R's or digital).
In view of the recent discussions re. Street Photography I wanted to set a relevant theme, which is UNIFORMS - (as in wearers of not uniformity!!). As always the theme is open to interpretation of course, but the images must contain an element of a uniform as a significant part of the composition. You need to take the photograph at any time between Monday 14 April and Sunday 20 April. When you have developed/scanned your film, post your chosen image in the Challenge thread which will be set up shortly, by 1st May. Voting will run from 1st - 10th May and the photo with the most votes/points will win! There will be a prize/s for the winner! The main point of this is for fun and to make sure you keep exercising those LTM cameras! Might be an idea to print out the photographers rights page to take with you when shooting though ![]() |

bumped again!
From tomorrow morning until Sunday, get your LTM's out and take part in the next Barnack Challenge. The theme is 'uniforms' (i.e. clothing not a uniform structure or pattern!). |

Well, apart from being spotted by a city policeman yesterday, I have pounded a lot of streets, the harbour, both national and municipal police stations, but it's in the train station that I finally snapped a couple of shots. I probably shot a grand total of 6 pictures until now and as I must go to work again this sunday, it's unlikely I'll do any better. We'll see.
How did you guys make out, did you use some film? |

I wanted to get something not so obvious but ended up with a Policeman shot which I've posted. Anyone else feel a bit wary this time round?! |
