nikonosguy Posted October 20, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm carrying all my gear on a photo trip this weekend need some advice on using my r5 with r-bellows - i have the following lenses : 24/2.8,90,2.8,180/2.8, and the 2x teleconverter ---- any thoughts on the best way to use this rig with the bellows? am new to bellows - -- may cut corners and use my nikon micro 60/2.8 and ringflash Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The 180mm f2.8 Elmarit-R should do OK if you need a long front clearance, for instance, to photograph insects, but I do not have this lens. I would not expect the 24mm Elmarit-R to do well on bellows; I have this lens, but never mounted it on my bellows. Have fun; just experiment and find out for yourself. It's a nice combination, but has been unused since I got a 60 Macro-Elmarit R and 1:1 adapter. Much more convenient.
