Goggled Summaron 2.8/35mm

Recommended Posts

I use my goggled summicron occasionally on the m6ttl, no problem.

I have even had it on the nex 6 for comparison with other 35s. Looked ridiculous and proved very quickly that the aspheric 35/2 is better at large apertures!

Yes, it can be used on any M camera. Just note that the goggles can foul a handgrip you may have mounted.

Thank you very much Jaapv, gyoung, OrientXI, I´m going for an M6 and was in doubt about what to do with it, what about if you remove the googles?

Thank you very much

No go, the rangefinder cam is shaped assuming the goggles are in place, without goggles the rangefinder will not be correctly coupled to the lens cam.

Its something I only learnt a couple of years ago myself thanks to gentlemen here on the forum, although I have owned the 35 Summicron with goggles for more than 40 years!
