Rotwang Posted December 8, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, just found in my Leica stuff (yes, I am cleaning up before Christmas) an envelope with two "Leica Test Dias". Is there anybody here who knows for which kind of projector? Are these test slides still useful or just nice to have? Thanks a lot Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted December 8, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 8, 2013 They appear to be in standard length and width 35 MM slide mounts, but in thick, glass mounts. They will work in just about any slide projector for 35 MM slides, but if in a Carousel, only in the 80 slide tray, not the larger one - the slots are a bit too snug for that type of mount. gyoung Posted December 9, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 9, 2013 I can vaguely remember such things supplied with or for Pradovits a long while ago, although I certainly didn't get any with my RC or P600. Used for setting up the projector in alignment with the screen I presume. Gerry
doubice Posted December 11, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 11, 2013 If I recall, those were used to align two Pradovit projectors when used in tandem with a disolve unit. I still have two of those left..... Cheers, Jan
