Hi everyone,
Could someone tell me how long the VF LED's/meter should be active after I have taken my finger off the release? At present they go straight out but I was under the impression they should stay on a while. Many thanks to anyone who can help. Karlitos. |

It should be on (for about 10 sec.) in case the shutter is cocked. When you try to measure with your camera before a filmtransport has been done, it goes off, IMO.
I do not have the R4 but a later model. With the R4 it should be the same... Best |

Karlitos,
I've checked on my R4 and instruction manual: no problem for yours, the led's go off immediately after you release the finger from the button. Tim and others are right but only for models after the R5, from that model (I also checked on my R6) the leds stay lighted for about ten seconds if the shutter is cocked. But this is not true for the models R4 and R4s, so don't worry about it, your R4 is functioning well. Fernando. |
