jaques Posted December 5, 2010 Share #1 Posted December 5, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) just lost my mind at a camera auction and made some Leitz purchases... all sight unseen of course... they just seem 'good'. can anyone help me identify the copying accessories pictured here? and any rough estimate on value on any of these items would be greatly appreciated

Overgaard Posted December 5, 2010 Share #2 Posted December 5, 2010 Presuming the Noctilux is an M mount and not the Prototype R mount, it's fairly normal, yet valuable leica.overgaard.dk - Thorsten Overgaard's Leica Pages - Leica 50mm Noctilux-M ASPH f/0.95 - Leitz 50mm Noctilux-M f/1.2 and the Leica 50mm Noctilux-M f/1.0 samples and article What the specialized purpose is for the two others I don't know

jaques Posted December 5, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) thanks for the answers guys. I knew what the Noctilux was when I bid on it ;-) (I also thought I knew I cannot afford a Noktilux). I really didn't expect to 'win'- I was sure I would be outbid... it was a shock when the bidding fell silent- and my credit card nearly had a heart attack... I rationalised it by thinking of the firm resale value: and that I could maybe own it for a while at minimal or no cost. I really don't know if I can afford the luxury: but already I am am looking at my other lenses and wondering what I can sell so I can afford to keep the Noct. The 1.2 35 VC is looking to be first on the block... The Oleyo/Mikas set up was described as BEOWU in the auction catalogue? Does this make any sense? This is the thing I am keen to get a valuation of: as it will need to help pay for the Noctilux... assuming it can first pay for itself- and I don't care at all if valuations are off the cuff- and rough at best.
