Default Paris - some more pics

Here some more takes from my day of photographing in Paris. The first one is from about 11am. Somehow, at least since Doisneau, one
expects every set of pics from Paris to include at least one kissing couple. The one shown I found in the "Place des Vosges".

The second photo was taken in the "Jardin du Palais Royale", on my one challenge roll, and depicts Jean-Jaques R. feeding the many tiny
birds that are making those Gardens their home. Jean-Jaques is a writer, and told me he's daily feeding the birds, many of whom he knows
by name. I took a few pictures of him, but am not satisfied with the results. Probably, in this instance, a 35 mm would have allowed me to
take more spontaneous pictures, as well as including some more of the background.

The third picture depicts someone resting near the "Jardin des Tuileries". A minute after I had taken the picture I noticed that I had
accidentally underexposed by 3 stops or so, but of course it was too late to go back.

About ten minutes after the time-limit of the challenge was reached I happened upon these Ladies in busy conversation in the "Parc
du Champ de Mars". Immediately after I had taken this picture they noticed me, and we had a short conversation about their dogs.

Perhaps I should add that the last three pictures (thus all of my challenge pictures) were taken with an Orange Filter on the Summicron.
In Summary, it was a phantastic day, to shoot, to meet, and to enjoy a lovely day in Paris. Definately to be repeated!

Kind regards, C.

Christoph -

I very much like your take on Doisneau. Lovely composition, delightful rim lighting, lush tones.

Christoph,

absolutely worth seeing pictures...

...Nr. 1 really not only seems to be classic. I think it is classic.

Congratulations.

Greetings
Alex

PS.: I am looking forward to a Paris-trip in the second week of December. But surely most of my pictures will be tourist photos :-) Perhaps your pictures are able to inspire me a little to try similar shots.

James,

Thank you. Some scenes are just irresistable - as these two ladies sitting there deep in
conversation. I do think that the wheather helped us on the day as well. With that sun it
was almost like spring...

Regards to the man with the 3f,

C.
