John -

A lovely shot with a sad story/title.

John

well I seem to have gone off colour photography a bit recently but I have to say this is terrific. What fantastic light, excellent framing and composition, a classic. Hey, the standard around here is just getting too high, I think I'm going to have to go underground for a while

There are at least two photos here - thanks to the lovely sunset and its reflection, the top half could be use on its own, and the bottom half could be split up.

Well done!

I minor criticism is that I would myself have digitised out the stray bits of foliage along the RH border.

Great shot. Pity my monitor isn't bit enough to see it without having to scroll down.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I did consider removing the foliage on the right-hand side, as suggested by John, but decided, on balance, that it helped stop the eye wandering out of the frame.

Great shot. Only criticism is that it doesn't look straight, i.e. it needs a small rotation to be level.

Bittersweet.
Mind is walking between the spectacular picture and the scene / figures.

Hi

Only saw the top half at first on my small monitor and thought that was excellent but then when I scrolled down and saw the complete picture - speechless...........

Excellent doesn't seem to be enough
