Default The Loo with the View.

I'm afraid that you must not expect Leica glass quality here, even with a v-lux 1, as it was taken through the (closed) window of the gent's loo at the Station Inn, Ribblesdale.
The train, on the Leeds - Settle - Carlisle line, is passing over the Ribblehead viaduct.
This line is regarded by many as the most scenic route in Britain.

The sign on the loo door says it all.

David,

I believe that if you would crop the sign out (to below where the stone wall is) and sharpen it a little, you would have a wonderful capture.

"A wonderful capture"? Is that the same as a "wonderful picture"?

The loo is just the caption...gives it context, but works well without it. Typically pastel, soft English countryside colors.

Paul, David,

The LOO WITH A VIEW sign is a separate picture, not part of the landscape.
It is, in fact, screwed to the door of the gents' loo inside the Station Inn.
Sorry for the confusion.
I should have endeavoured to leave more space between to the two pictures.

David.

David -

With the sign it is lovely and funny. Without it is beautiful and very much like a painting. Excellent timing and composition.
