I need some help or instructions on how to post some images I made with my LC-1 at the Grand Cayon in Arizona, USA. I would like to posts some of the images i made with this camera for all of you to review, comment, alter, if you wish, and resubmit for further comment. The images I posted may neeed to be resubmitted because I don't know how to resize correctly to save image quality.
I am planning to submit the images as is. I am still learning, so here is a chance to have some fun and help some one become a better photographer in the process. Please understand I like my workhowever constructive criticism wil make me a better photographer. I would like to see if our visions are one and the same or if they will vary greatly. All photos were taken in the JPEG format. Sorry no Raw bar here...smile. Thanks, Howard |

Hi Howard.
Welcome to the Forum! I'll try to help you. First of all, I see you're using Adobe Photoshop 7 and the image is roughly 350 x 250 pixels of 163K size. You just need to resize before you post, and you can do that in 7 by (I think it's the same as more recent versions) going to "Image" along the top of the page, clicking and looking at the drop-down for "Resize" and remaking the dimensions of the file straight out of your camera to 800 wide and 600 height for landscapes and 500 wide and no more than 750 height for portraits. Also, see "Bryan's Tip" at the top of this section (and all the Photo sections) for help in posting here. Pictures look good from here, other than being too small to really say much else than "try again, larger!" Thanks. Allan

Thank you Alan and JR. I would like to apologize for the slow response. Your advice is helpful and appreciated. I am going to resubmit the photos plus one using your advice. I haven't taken the time to upgrade my photo softwear. One day I will. I am still learning to use PS 7...smile. I hope to post more photos in the near future.
Best Regards Tyree PS: There was one other step to this process to keep the files at the Max limit. |
