Default Balcony Scene

In 18 years of living here, I have never before seen this early-morning lighting effect from my balcony. This is looking from Vancouver Island toward the British Columbia mainland; familiar territory to anyone who has taken an Alaska cruise, as a number of regulars on this forum have done. M8, Macro Elmar M 90, 1/1000 @ f/5.6, 160 ISO.

Neil -

A lovely, almost metaphysical image. I saw a similar scene while in Achorage, but your photo is much better than mine.

Grand.. The yacht makes the small parts more meaningful as well.
Wish I could take such photos.
