I like how the paintwork on each boat gets successively less bold as you recede into the picture. Well seen!

The light and the water create a somehow mystical atmosphere, for me pleasant at the moment, but with a storm to come. One for the wall I'd say.

Superb, as always, and the counterplay of the typically brightly painted Maltese small boat against the dull-day look of almost sepia toned environment makes this most dramatic.
