This pier burnt down a few years ago, and all that's left is the iron frame - hence the history.

One day someone will be foolhardy enough to rebuild it...

Andy (Pete, sorry, stealing your post ...)

It's more philosophical for me. You have this structure and you put up a billboard with how it was. But what I see is a commercial for how it will be. Like you see those things in America, South Africa, whatever: "buy our land, we will build you a nice home".

In the end it's just nice to see that history, now and future can mingle.
