Default A Walk Around Barcelona

Because I don't have ready access to scanning my negatives, I don't post many photos. Most of the photos I end up taking that I like are on film, but yesterday I went out with my Pana-Leica (as we call them) and my R9. I'd take photos with the Panasonic first, to help with composition (and give me a sense of what the black and white photo would look like). So here are a few of my favourites (and a few colour shots as well). All photos are as taken -- no touch-ups or photoshoping. Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a good long weekend (for those of you in the relevant countries).

Ilan -

Excellent series, and I'm glad to see you here again. Please post whenever you can. How's it going with the new gig and the Catalan?

Hi Stuart! I tried to give a feeble excuse for the lack of postings, but I really should post more often. As for the Catalan and Castellano, not so good. I speak a terrible combination of French, Spanish and Catalan that can just make my food shopping trips to the market functional, but other than that, not so good. Working all day in English doesn't help much. The gig is alright, although the research resources are not good, so I don't think I want to stay here for the full three years. I'd like to be out of here by the end of next academic year, possibly back in the UK for a couple of years, although I'm looking for a tenure track opportunity in Vancouver... well, me an probably every other academic in Canada... How about you?

Thanks.
