Default Dylan's shed

That's Dylan Thomas of course. This is the shed at Laugharne in South Wales where he wrote a lot of his most famous works. The main house - a converted boathouse - is about 50 metres away. More details here...

I had to shoot this through a window pane as the shed was locked, hence the less than optimal image quality. No photograph is allowed in the boathouse.

Laugharne is a very pretty village with everything you could need, including a castle, a couple of restaurants and several pubs.

Steve,
was the shed left in in it's original condition...I am referring to the 'lived in' look it has?

Very nice shot..I like it, it has something.

regards
andy

Andy, thanks. I'm assuming it's been restored to it's original state rather than being preserved.

Steve -

As great fans of his work I appreciate this fine image all the more. I'll send it to Barbara.

Steve, great capture. How did you manage to shoot this without any reflection in the glass?

Thanks guys.

Ben, there is some reflection - look at the top left and near the top right. I cropped the top of the image a little to remove some more obvious reflections.

I use the lens with one of John Milich's lens hoods for the 15mm, so I pressed the lens hood right up to the glass.
