It may have been early (ok, it was actually about 10 am), but this person wasn't the first to walk across this piece of sand that day.

Steve, a most excellant image. Wonderful perch from which you shot. I find this image very powerful. To me it is a stark representation of current events. A man, or us as a species, walking around, lost & confused, going over the same ground without actually making any progress.

Thanks everyone. This is one of those shots that I had worked out before I took it. I knew the tide was low and that there weren't many people about. The footprints in the sand were a bonus.
