We visited one of our nieces in Jacksonville, as well as to give Barbara an opportunity to try skydiving (I had to stay on the ground just in case the Earth tilted, so I could tilt it back before she landed. That, plus I find it very difficult to frame and focus while screaming in terror). Through our hotel window I saw this bridge that looked interesting by day, but stunning by night. We have a Jacksonville page on our site if you wish to see more, including Barbara skydiving.

Pierre-Olivier - Thank you.
Wilfredo - Thank you. We traveled very light, and I knew with Barbara's plans for skydiving I needed a long lens. I took along only my FZ20 (Panasonic with a 35mm equivalent to a 35-420mm zoom). This was probably at about "50" mm. |

Stuart,
Very nice images indeed. The night shot for me is exceptional, capture and colouring is wonderful. Magic print, I anticipate. Well done and thanks for showing. Rolo ![]()

Stuart,
I, of course, think these are wonderful.....but, I must ask: "why is the right half of the dark part of the sky in # 1 darker than the left hand side? It also contains three vertical lines of demarcation. Respectfully submitted, Al |

Ivan, Werner & Henri - Thank you.
Al - Thank you. I have no idea why the relative brightess varies, and can only guess the right half was further from the rising or setting sun (I don't recall which). |
