Earthquake simulator in Toyko

I passed this mobile earth quake simulator at Shinjuku train station, which goes up to force 7. The Leica did take it well, nevertheless. The advice is to switch off the gas and keep the head under the table while holding to it's legs.

Since this is technically a Japanese home, it is required to take off your shoes before entering. One develops some kind of sensitivity here, entering a traditional Japanese restaurant two weeks ago, I figured it would be best to carry my 'bag on wheels' rather than rolling it over the polished floor.
