That made me laugh.

No, nothing that serious happened here....
...somehow and very unusual for this naturally protected inlet was hit by high winds thus causing strong waves.
These waves managed to push these stones through holes that run underneath the paving onto the road.
This caused traffic and also made people to walk to the next Bus Stop, as it was impossible to wait on this particular one without getting soaked.
