I went out this evening and took a few M8 shots in nearby Huntington Beach. I didn't want to do the usual tourist type shots (not that there is anything wrong with that) with nicely saturated colors so I took off some of the saturation to give them something of a dreamlike quality, as if stepping back in time, or beyond time. Any way, here's what I came up with.

Usually I like night shots to wow me with their colors. Your series does that without the colors. Excellent compositions, andgles and details. |

Staurt, John and Graeme, Thank you.
Graeme: For the first two shots I used f/16. The first shot was set to ISO 320. The other two shots were at ISO 160. I believe I had the lens set at f/8 for the third shot. I used a tripod for all three. BTW, Huntington Beach is known as Surf City USA, where annual surfing competitions takes place. Cheers, Wilfredo Benitez-Rivera Photography |
