Spookey or just weird?
These two images were made a couple of days ago with an M8 28 2.8. I used LR for conversion.
The color images are postcard type tropical paradise... but these conversions seem spookey to me. Or are they just weird? |

I think the "spookiness" you are referring to is a surreal feel due to the removal of color combined with the normal distortion of a 28MM used close to an object that is receding, and to the strong contrast. Regardless, these are beautiful, superb images. |

Many thanks for the comments... I'm still quite new and have been trying to create images that "look like reality". This was an effort to push it... again my thanks for looking.
