PS : I don't wish to offend you, but I noticed on the larger example that your sensor might need a strong cleaning. Am I wrong ?

No, in fact the dirt and grime was added in photoshop...I thought it suited the mood of the picture!

Nice atmospheric picture - special colors.
Surprising to see a picture of Mao in the streets of Hong Kong - is that more common there or is it the one off?
