Mike
Thanks for looking and for your kind comment
....two more pictures
Stupa contains Buddha relics and needs a pagoda (called "Wat" in lao) for prayers It's just near the stupa (the first picture) and the detail of one door (i think that's a great work on wood : taken with Elmarit 90mm )
Hope you like

Default AW: Stupa in the million elephants country

Hello Henry,

you should try calibrate your display and your scanner. You have to much green in your pictures.
I have been in Vientiane this year in January.

A superb picture of this stupa called "Pra That Luang"
Thanks for showing us
January is a good time to visit Laos not too hot , but for me i was on July for this series of pictures,so i have some difficulty perhaps with the film (Fuji or Kodak ?) with too much light ...and the sensor of the camera may be doesn't like it too

Default AW: Stupa in the million elephants country

Yes, december and february were very fine for north-east Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

My camera had no problems with much light, heat, dust and moisture.

I have always my two Leica camera ( all argentic) since 1970 and 1986 and like me it's begin to be a little old ... but i wait for the R10 this year at the Photokina
If you have some more pictures of the That Luang and around, please post here Thank you
I will come back to Laos this year may be on May or April
Thanks again
Best regards
